Who is A.A.B.E.?


A.A.B.E. is an Australian based international company that imports and supplies bakery equipment to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.

It has been run by David & Noela Tscheinig since 1996 . 

We are located in Clontarf with a fully stocked showroom, equipment and ancillary items for all your baking needs.

Where do your machines originate from?


We currently import equipment from Italy, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Taiwan, Malaysia and France. 

Each machine is manufactured to A.A.B.E. specifications, which meet Australian standards and conditions.

A.A.B.E. are involved in designing and updating equipment in terms of engineering and safety standards.

Do you provide service for bakery equipment?


Yes. Our equipment has been designed for ease of access to service. We have service agents in all capital cities in Australia and can provide service in regional areas, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim.

Note: Please provide serial number from I.B.E badge on machine when requesting service to assist our team with processing your claim.

What are the Warranty Terms & Conditions?


We offer a 12 months parts and labour warranty on all new equipment.

Once the 12 month period has ended we are still able to repair and service equipment however a parts and labour fee is incurred.

Do you sell/stock bakeware, pastry cook equipment and baking utensils?


Yes we do! 

We have bannetons, cutters, scrapers, bowls, rolling pins, scoops, brushes, scales, knives and everything in between.

If we do not have it in stock we are able to order any baking equipment you may need without hesitation due to our broad supplier base. 

No order is too big or too small, we are happy to source single items.

Can I test the equipment before I commit to buying?


Yes you can!

At A.A.B.E. we have a try before you buy policy.

This means if you wish to try our equipment before you commit to buying anything you are more than welcome to organise to bring in your ingredients and test our machines.

Do you offer refunds?


We offer a 7 day money back guarantee on bakery equipment/machinery. We require payment prior to dispatch, and if for any reason you are unhappy with your machine, you can return it within 7 days from delivery date. 

However, freight to return machine is at customer's cost and subject to machine being clean and undamaged.

Can you help with setting up or redesigning my bakery/shop?


A.A.B.E. has a network of experienced and professional project managers, electricians and plumbers that are able to help us setup your bakery from start to finish, or upgrade and renovate your existing shop.

How can I pay for equipment/bakeware?

At A.A.B.E we accept all forms of payment. This includes credit card (VISA, MasterCard & American Express, currently with no surcharge), cheque, bank deposit, cash & financing. 

We work hand in hand with a finance companies that know our products to assist with speedier loan approvals.

Do you sell used equipment?

Yes we do! We are frequently receiving second hand equipment which is workshop testedor fully refurbished in our own workshop. Please call 07 3889 5700  to find out what we currently have in stock. 

This general information is to assist you to maintain your A.A.B.E. equipment in good working order with the intention of reducing the possible occurrences of the need for technical repair.

Our foremost recommendation is that the manufacturers guidelines for maintenance in the Operators Manual supplied with your machine is always followed to the letter. If you are ever unsure, contact the supplier or service agent for maintenance or repairs to be carried out.

We recommend you keep yourself and your staff informed of the Workplace Health & Safety Rules and Health Department Rules.

General Tips

  1. Always disconnect the power source before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
  2. Set daily schedules for cleaning/wipe down with a damp cloth of external surfaces. Do not use a hose/pressure hose with water or have water dripping from the cleaning cloth.
  3. Regularly check that leads, electrical connections and control panels, if fitted, are free and show no visible signs of damage or wear.
  4. All machines fitted with wheels/castors are cleaned under and the wheels/castors move freely.

Planetary Mixers

TM20B, TF20B, TM40B, TF40B, TM60B, TM90B
  1. Never tap the whisk against the bowl to clear excess mixture.  This will weaken and break the wires.
  2. Lubricate safety guard and bowl carriage slides regularly using white oil or vaseline.  Do not use bakers oil, vegetable oil, etc.

Spiral Mixers

KL100, KL125P, KL200E, KL201E, KL202E
  1. When reattaching the feet and screws after cleaning, screw into position then use two hands to tighten to ensure equal pressure.  Otherwise, the mixer will be uneven and wobble during operation.
  2. Ensure the bolts holding the kneading bar in the mixing bowl are tight at all times.
  3. Never rest tools on top of the mixer during operation.  Any tool can fall in and prevent the mixing action which could cause damage.
